I live in Sunrise, Florida. I am native to Florida-yes I was actually born here-and still love living in Florida.

I have a Master's Degree in Education with a specialization in technology. This means I can do many different things and I do.

I am a web designer, instructional designer and an aspiring author for children's literature.

When it comes to my professional career I wear many hats but I like writing for children most of all. I've dreamed of being a novelist since fourth grade. My early sources of inspiration were Shelley, Poe and Stephen King.

I've always had a penchant for horror.

The first adult novel I read was in the fourth grade, it was, "AmityVille Horror." I was hooked by the macabre.

Stephen King and Edgar Allan Poe had plenty of stories to keep me busy, but my utmost favorite novel is, "Frankenstein," by Mary Shelley.

I admire this story because it is genuinely scary yet eloquently written. Words are really awesome.

I love to write, to read and to listen to stories. I hope that one day my characters and their stories will be remembered by children of all ages.

I'm not sure if I'm as scary or as sophisticated as my predecessors, but like them I have a passion for storytelling and even though I try to do many other things-I will always be a writer.
